Mirah Anti (she/her) is a dedicated educator and advocate for equity and inclusion who wants to leave an indelible mark on education and beyond. With a strong foundation in teaching, Mirah’s journey began as a classroom teacher, where she instilled a passion for learning in her students from 1994 to 1997 and later from 2009 to 2018. Her impact expanded as she took on roles such as Diversity Coordinator at New Trier High Township High School District 203 and Data Analysis & Cultural Competency Workshop Designer and Facilitator at National Louis University. Mirah’s commitment to creating a more inclusive society further extends to her current position as Assistant Superintendent of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Township High School District 113, where she continues to drive positive change. Mirah’s passion for education also translates into her involvement as a State of Illinois School Board Member, contributing her expertise and insights to the board of Evanston Township High School District 202 since her appointment in 2021 and creating a more inclusive society with her involvement as a facilitator for the National SEED Project. Mirah’s work is not just her profession but a reflection of her life’s passion, driven by an unwavering commitment to equity and inclusion. Beyond this, she finds immense joy in exploring the realms of futurism, expressing herself through dance, and cherishing precious moments with family and friends.
